She has also lectured and published on various lower extremity medical and surgical topics. She received personalized training in Iowa with renowned orthopedist Dr. Ignacio Ponseti and utilizes his casting technique for the treatment of pediatric clubfoot. When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Weber enjoys being a mother to two girls, a boy, and a dog. A former marathoner, she now prefers more leisurely outdoor adventures.     Dr. Olivera Jovic received her Master of Science in Biomedical Science and later completed her medical education at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL. While pursuing her medical degree, she received the Outstanding Civic Service Award and the Podiatric Academic Merit Scholarship. She completed a three-year Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Miami Beach in 2012 where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Jovic’s residency training encompassed all aspects of foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, advanced techniques in wound care, as well as elective and reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries. During this time, she also participated in the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project mission trip in Merida, Mexico. Dr. Jovic continued in private practice on campus at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL for seven years, where she participated as a faculty member for the foot and ankle surgical residency program. Dr. Jovic is now practicing on campus at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO. She offers an innovative approach in all aspects of lower extremity medicine including conservative treatments, regenerative cell-based therapies as well as surgical intervention of foot and ankle injuries in patients of all ages.     Dr. Drew Burdi is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he was a member of the Western Michigan football team and received his degree in Biomedical Sciences. After completing his undergraduate studies, he proceeded to Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his doctorate in podiatric medicine. Dr. Burdi went on to complete a three year podiatric surgical residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center on the southside of Chicago, IL. His residency training focused on all aspects of foot and ankle deformity correction, trauma, total ankle replacements, sports medicine, lower extremity nerve decompression, wound care and diabetic limb salvage. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Burdi continued his training at the Southeastern Permanente Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Atlanta, GA. During his fellowship, Dr. Burdi continued his surgical training in foot and ankle trauma, flat foot reconstruction, sports medicine, diabetic limb salvage, and minimally invasive bunion correction. Dr. Burdi is a board qualified surgeon with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He will be practicing at the Foot and Ankle Center of the Rockies in Greeley, CO, as well as joining the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at North Colorado Medical Center. Dr. Burdi loves interacting with his patients and finding innovative and effective ways to treat their foot and ankle injuries and conditions. Dr. Burdi’s passion is first and foremost in helping his patients and giving them the care they deserve. Dr. Burdi moved to northern Colorado with his wife and their two dogs. Dr. Burdi and his wife are originally from Chicago, IL, but both agree that Colorado is where they feel most at home. In his free time, Dr. Burdi enjoys golfing, hiking, skiing, exercising, spending time with family and fostering rescue dogs.
