  • Jim Johnson

    Owner/General Manager

Jim has been playing music for most of his life, starting with classical piano at age 4, and moving on to jazz and rock styles throughout his childhood in the suburbs of Chicago, while performing at festivals and other events in the Midwest in addition to a few tours through the Southeast. After moving to Denver to attend college, he has spent the past several years playing in local bands. Jim has performed at most of the venues in Denver and on the ski town circuit, and has logged quite a bit of time in the studio as well. He has also worked in TV and radio, and spent several years managing and producing large events and concerts. Having been fortunate enough to grow up in an environment with a very strong music education program, Jim is committed to providing the same great experience for the students at School of Rock Denver.
