Orthopedic Urgent Care

KaufCare provides same-day orthopedic urgent care for acute bone, joint, and musculoskeletal injuries, including suspected fractures, dislocations, sprains, and other extremity injuries. With on-site digital X-ray, splinting and immobilization, joint reduction, pain management, and orthopedic referral when needed, our experienced clinicians can evaluate and treat many orthopedic injuries without an expensive emergency department visit. Laceration Repair

KaufCare provides same-day evaluation and repair of cuts, lacerations, and open wounds. Treatment may include wound cleaning and irrigation, stitches (sutures), local anesthesia, bleeding control, wound closure, and follow-up care. Our experienced clinicians treat many minor to complex wounds on-site, helping patients avoid an expensive emergency room visit when appropriate.

Fracture Care & Splinting

KaufCare provides same-day evaluation and treatment for suspected broken bones and fractures. With on-site digital X-ray, our clinicians can diagnose many fractures during your visit and provide splinting, immobilization, pain management, and same-day orthopedic referral when needed. We treat common fractures of the hand, wrist, arm, ankle, foot, fingers, toes, and other extremities, helping patients get fracture care without an expensive emergency room visit when appropriate. Dislocation Reduction

KaufCare provides same-day evaluation and treatment for joint dislocations, including shoulders, fingers, elbows, kneecaps, and other appropriate injuries. Our experienced emergency physicians can perform joint reduction, pain control, splinting or immobilization, and on-site digital X-rays when needed to evaluate for associated fractures. Many uncomplicated dislocations can be treated at KaufCare without an expensive emergency department visit.

Cyst Removal

KaufCare provides in-office cyst evaluation and removal, including epidermoid and other common skin cysts. Our experienced clinicians perform minor surgical procedures using local anesthesia with transparent, upfront pricing and convenient follow-up care.

Treatment may include incision and drainage (I&D), local anesthesia, wound irrigation, packing when appropriate, and follow-up care. Foreign Body Removal

KaufCare provides same-day evaluation and removal of foreign bodies from the skin and soft tissues, including splinters, glass, metal, wood, fishhooks, and other embedded objects. Our clinicians can provide local anesthesia, wound exploration, removal, irrigation, and wound care, with on-site digital X-ray available when needed to help locate certain foreign objects. Joint & Bursa Injections

KaufCare provides same-day evaluation and therapeutic injections for joint pain, arthritis, bursitis, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinicians perform corticosteroid and anesthetic injections for appropriate conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, hip bursa, and other joints and soft tissues. Treatment is individualized after an examination to determine whether an injection is appropriate.

Lab Testing & Rapid Diagnostics

KaufCare provides on-site lab testing and rapid diagnostic testing for a variety of acute illnesses and medical concerns. Testing may include rapid strep, COVID-19, influenza, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, blood glucose, and other point-of-care tests when clinically appropriate. Our clinicians use testing together with a medical evaluation to help establish a diagnosis and guide treatment during the same visit, with transparent, upfront pricing.

EKG / Electrocardiogram

KaufCare provides same-day EKG (electrocardiogram/ECG) testing for patients with palpitations, rapid or irregular heartbeat, dizziness, weakness, chest discomfort, and other symptoms that may require evaluation of the heart’s rhythm. Our clinicians can perform and interpret an EKG on-site and determine whether additional testing or emergency department evaluation is needed.

IV Therapy & Hydration

KaufCare provides same-day IV therapy and IV hydration for patients who may benefit from intravenous fluids or medications. Treatment is clinician-directed and may be used for dehydration, nausea and vomiting, migraine symptoms, acute illness, and other appropriate medical conditions. Patients receive a medical evaluation to determine the appropriate treatment rather than a one-size-fits-all IV infusion.

Asthma Treatment & Breathing Treatments

KaufCare provides same-day evaluation and treatment for asthma attacks, wheezing, shortness of breath, and acute asthma flare-ups. Our clinicians can assess breathing problems, measure oxygen levels, provide nebulizer breathing treatments and medications when appropriate, and evaluate for other causes of respiratory symptoms such as pneumonia or infection. Patients with severe symptoms requiring hospital-level care can be rapidly identified and referred to the emergency department.

Ingrown Toenail Treatment

KaufCare provides same-day treatment for painful or infected ingrown toenails. Our clinicians can numb the toe with local anesthesia and perform partial nail removal when needed to relieve pain and treat the underlying problem.
