The Meiers love watching the children at their school smile, laugh, grow and learn. Elizabeth and Martin discovered the value of a safe and nurturing learning environment through their own children's experience at The Goddard School. They bring their business backgrounds as a corporate lawyer and IT project manager, respectively, to support the faculty at City Park West.
Char is a native of Denver, Colorado and has two amazing children, Sir Devon and Trinity, who are the joy of her life. Char began her journey teaching in the Early Childhood Education field in 1989. She earned her Degree in Early Childhood Education and holds her Director’s Certification for Early Childhood Education through the Colorado Department of Education. Char joined the City Park Goddard family in August of 2014, as the Infant Supervisor and has grown to love each member of the school as a vital part of this amazing body of awesome teachers. In January 2017, Char joined the administrative team as Assistant Director and in January 2018 was promoted to Co-Director. She is always ready to expand her journey with great expectations. Char’s heartfelt desire is to build strong relationships with our students, families and communities to make a difference in the lives of our future.
Christie started at our school in December of 2022 but has been with Goddard for over a decade. She helped open two other Goddard School locations before she found her way to our school. Christie has a bachelors degree in business management and marketing as well as Early Childhood Teaching and Directors certificates. She is also a mom to two young kids, both of whom have thrived during their time at Goddard.
Bre is an assistant director at The Goddard School in City Park west. She moved to Denver in November 2023 from San Diego, CA. She has worked with children for several years and also has educational background in early childhood. Bre loves working with children because she can support their learning and development while continuing to make a positive impact on their lives. Bre is also a big kid, so she loves playing and getting messy with the students she works with. In her free time, Bre likes to embroider, roller skate, and spend time with her animals and friends. Her favorite educational quote is from Loris Malaguzzi who said, "Our task is to help children communicate with the world using all their potential, strengths, and languages, and to overcome any obstacle presented by our culture."
Melissa is our assistant director. She started as a toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West in 2023 and moved into an admin role in 2024. Prior to teaching at our school, she was a teacher at a Goddard School in Wisconsin for six years. She also taught at other centers for three years. Melissa grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado in June of 2023. Melissa grew up on watersports and basketball. She has a degree in administrative professionalism but has always enjoyed working with children. Melissa's paternal grandmother, uncle and three aunts started their own child care businesses so she grew up in the industry.
Adrienne has been a toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the fall of 2024. She has been working with children for years and even owned her own in-home childcare in Iowa before she moved to Colorado. She loves to have fun with her students and see them learn. In her spare time, Adrienne enjoys riding her e-bike, cooking, watching her plants grow, and sewing/crocheting baby clothing.
Ana has been a toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the fall of 2021. She has completed the Expanding Quality Infant and Toddler Care courses as well as several college Early Childhood classes. Ana was born in Mexico and raised in Denver since she was 2 years old. Eventually Ana would like to go back to school for phlebotomy or be a pediatrician. Ana loves working at Goddard because of this love for children. In her free time, Ana likes to eat good food, shop, and travel.
Annalee has been a toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since 2017. She is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and has her Infant/Toddler Childhood Development Associate Credential. She was born and raised in Montana where she lived until she moved to Colorado. Annalee has always had a passion for working with children. She especially has a huge heart for watching infants and toddlers grow, learn, and explore new experiences. Annalee enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and musical events. She is excited to be a part of our great school.
Arey'el has been a teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the Spring of 2024. She was born and raised in Denver. In her free time, Arey'el likes to go skating, read, hangout with friends, and watch tv. She has had an internship working in childcare when she was in high school and babysits her 4 nephews often. Arey'el loves working with kids because they are great conversationalists.
Destiny has been a lead toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the fall of 2021. Destiny has earned her associates degree in human and social services. She has completed the Expanding Quality Infant and Toddler Care courses as well as several college Early Childhood classes. She is a loving and caring person and will do anything to help those who need anything. She is family oriented and loves spending time with them. She is out to chase her dreams while also living life to the fullest. Working with children has brought joy in her life and she hopes to be able to bring joy to everyone she meets.
Estela has been a lead Preschool/PreK teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the fall of 2018. She was born in Jalisco, Mexico and then moved to California when she was 14 years old. After getting married Estela moved back to Mexico where she worked at a private elementary school for 6 years. Aside from teaching, she also worked for evening programs supporting children further with their reading and writing skills. Estela believes that children have pure souls and will return the love that you give them. Estela loves to work with children and can’t see herself doing anything else. When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys spending her free time reading and doing arts and crafts.
Hannah is a preschool teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West. Hannah was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and has lived in Colorado for 7+ years. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, watching movies and playing with her cat. Prior to starting at Goddard, Hannah worked as a Registered Behavior Therapist at an autism center. She earned her bachelor of arts in Psychology. She enjoys teaching because she thinks that it is rewarding to teach them foundational skills and to celebrate their victories, both big and small. She believes that patience and empathy goes a long way with children and likes to create a safe space for them to grow.
Jamariah (or Ms. J) is the Infant Program Supervisor at The Goddard School in City Park West. She has been an infant teacher here since the Spring of 2023 and has completed several early childhood courses. J has worked in childcare for more than fifteen years and enjoys bringing her own kids to Goddard each day. She was born and raised in Denver and has lived everywhere from Park Hill to Englewood. She loves teaching children and watching them learn. Her contribution to any classroom she's in is her calmness and a go with the flow attitude.
Jasmine has been a preschool teacher at the Goddard School in City Park West since was the fall of 2023. She was born and raised in New York City where she worked as a paraprofessional. When she moved to Colorado, she started her career teaching preschoolers at our school. Jasmine has two cats who are her babies and mean the world to her. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know the students each school year.
Kaitlin is a preschool teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West. She was studying Early Childhood Education in Deerfield, Wisconsin where she taught at another Goddard location. She has been teaching since 2014 and loves working with children because she feels that she is changing the future in her classroom. In her free time, she likes spending time with her wife and their four children. She also likes to crochet and craft.
Katrice has been a toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the fall of 2024. She was born in Leadville, CO and is one of 5 girls. She has lived in Denver since she was 1 year old. In her free time, Katrice likes to spend time with family, hike, walk her dog Reece, and spend time having fun with her daughter. Katrice loves to watch children learn and grow and to see their different personalities. She also loves being a child's safe place.
Kiara has been a preschool teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the fall of 2024. She has lived in Colorado her whole life. She loves working with children and has worked with toddlers for more than a year at another school. She is currently going to college and is majoring in psychology. Eventually, Kiara wants to be a child therapist. In her free time, Kiara likes to spend time with her son watching movies and doing activities together.
Ms. Liz is a lead toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West. Prior to starting at The Goddard School, Liz worked as a substitute teacher in early childhood centers throughout Denver. loves being a part of helping children learn and making a difference in their lives. In her free time, she likes spending time with her loved ones.
Lupe started as a preschool teacher at The Goddard School (City Park West) in the fall of 2019. She is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and has completed Colorado's Pyramid Plus Approach training. She also has earned her Child Development Associate Credential. Lupe believes that it’s the teacher’s duty to provide a safe, clean, and material rich environment for children to be creative in. She finds having a positive attitude and good communication with parents an important aspect of a child’s education. Lupe has two children of her own and enjoys taking walks with her family. In her free time, she also enjoys shopping and doing arts and crafts.
Maria Estela was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico and moved to Denver in 2018. She graduated from Bruce Randolph High school and is currently attending MSU Denver in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education. She believes that the love of being an educator is in her blood since her mother and several aunts are teachers. Her favorite hobbies are singing, dancing, crafting, and traveling.
Rue has been teaching preschool for one year, and she is so excited to be here at Goddard! She is originally from Layton, Utah. She moved to Denver in August 2022, and she has loved every second of it. She has a cat named Bayard who is almost 2 years old and she loves him very much. In her spare time, she enjoys digital drawing and going to concerts. Rue is over the moon to be a part of our school!
Ms. Ziah is a preschool teacher in our Racing Rabbits and Playful Puppies classrooms. Ziah studied Early Childhood Education at the Community College of Denver. She is a qualified lead preschool teacher and has also earned her Early Childcare Director certificate as well. Ziah was born and raised in Denver. In her free time, she likes to read, write and eat good food. For Ziah, working with young children is more than just a job, it is her passion.
Ms. Bonnie has been a Prekindergarten teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since 2025. Prior to starting at Goddard, she worked as an assistant teacher for more than two years at the University of California, Berkley Early Childhood Education program. She has also worked with children diagnosed with autism as a Registered Behavior Therapist. Bonnie has an associates degree in Psychology, Social and Behavioral Science and Liberal Arts and Humanities. She has a bachelors degree in Psychology and is currently working in a master's program for Social Work. She is working towards being a trauma therapist for children and adolescents. Bonnie has lived in Georgia, California, Nevada and now calls Denver home. In her free time, she likes to travel (Ghana being her favorite destination), do poetry, sew, cook, read and look for various outdoor activities.
Dae has been an infant teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since January of 2024. She has an associates from the University of Arkansas in Interdisciplinary Studies and bachelors in Journalism from Texas Tech university. Dae ran D1 track at both universities and spends her free time doing a podcast that explains her journey to kids that may want to do competitive sports in college and coach track and field like she did. Dae decided to work with children because it has always been a passion of hers to teach and care for youth.
Louise has been a toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West since the summer of 2024. She was born and raised in Denver. In her spare time, Louise likes to read and watch scary movies. She has had several years of experience working with children beginning with teaching in her teens and more recently directing a before and after school program and leading a summer bike camp. Louise loves working with children because she loves helping them grow and develop and feels that adults learn right alongside children. She loves that she gets to be part of the lives of children and families.
Denise is a toddler teacher at The Goddard School in City Park West. She was born and raised in Colorado and has spent many years babysitting her nephews. In her free time, Denise enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Samantha was born and raised in Colorado. Some things she loves and enjoys doing in her free time is spending time with her family and being able to create amazing memories with each one of them. She also enjoys going on walks, going out and exploring nature and also going shopping. She is really excited that she is able to be part of such an amazing team working with amazing children. She is so excited to be able to be a part of each students growth and learning journey. Being in the company of children brings her joy and so much happiness.
Ben is a graduate of The Goddard School City Park West and our summer support. This is his second summer helping with snack preparation and supporting the office and classrooms. He is currently in High School and enjoys playing basketball in his free time.
