    Sloan Armstrong, the owner of The Goddard School since its inception in 2010, has consistently demonstrated her unwavering commitment to excellence. The school has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious Goddard Systems Circle of Excellence and the Director of the Year award. Moreover, it has been recognized as one of the top preschools and childcare providers in Denver by Colorado Parent magazine. Notably, The Goddard School recently achieved Cognia accreditation and the Level Four Colorado Shines accreditation program. Sloan is currently a mother of two elementary school children who have both had the privilege of attending the Goddard program. She also owns The Goddard School of Aurora, another Circle of Excellence and award winning school. Sloan’s passion for quality education is evident in her work, and her longevity in the Washington Park, Denver and Aurora community. She’s a native of Colorado and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Business

    Ms. Amanda is our Director of Education. She has earned her bachelor's degree at Community College of Aurora where she studied early childhood education. She also has earned the highest level on Colorado's professional development system. She has worked in childcare for almost five years and adores working with early childhood children. She enjoys watching her students' unique personalities develop each day. Ms. Amanda's calm and friendly personality makes her a great addition to our Goddard team!

  • Lyndsey

    Ms. Lyndsey is our Director of Operations. She previously taught Pre-k and has experience working with elementary aged students since 2017. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2020 with a degree in Interdisciplinary studies emphasizing on education and reading. She moved to Colorado with her husband in 2022. Ms. Lyndsey is passionate about classrooms using students' learning differences, diverse cultures, and communities to produce an inclusive learning environment. She believes in creating an atmosphere that is positive and supportive for students and teachers. Since February 2023, Ms. Lyndsey’s ambition has made her the perfect fit for our Goddard team.

    Ms. Alexis brings heart, dedication, and a strong foundation in early childhood education to our Frogs classroom. She earned her Early Childhood Teacher qualifications through Colorado’s PDIS database and completed the Pyramid Plus Approach course, equipping her with the tools to support every child’s development with intention and care. She believes that every child is unique and deserves to feel seen, valued, and included.     We’re proud to have Ms. Gisel as a teacher in our Jungle Cats classroom! Since joining our Goddard family in December 2020, she has brought warmth, wisdom, and a deep commitment to nurturing every child’s potential.     Mr. Chad is our drum instructor. He has volunteered at The Goddard since 2009. Mr. Chad has dedicated himself to helping students learn how to rock regardless of skill level or life challenges. For nearly 30 years, he has performed with a multitude of local, national, and international touring acts, recorded a number of albums of his own as well as those of his musical brethren, and improved the lives of future rockers with private and group lessons. He takes great pride in his work. Mr. Chad's passionate personality makes him a great fit here at The Goddard.

    Mr. Gregory joined our team in August and has already made a meaningful impact. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University and an Associate's degree from the Community College of Denver. Currently, he’s pursuing his Master’s degree in Psychology an exciting step that reflects his dedication to understanding and supporting young learners. With a background as a Behavior Technician working with children ages 2–8, Mr. Gregory brings valuable experience and insight into the classroom. Though new to the teaching field, he is a natural demonstrating a calm confidence, thoughtful leadership, and a genuine passion for education. He believes that a teacher should be a responsible guide who always keeps the best interests of students at heart.     We’re proud to have Ms. Peggy leading the Jungle Cats classroom and sharing her talents as our on-site Mandarin instructor! Since joining our Goddard family in January 2012, Ms. Peggy has been a pillar of strength, warmth, and consistency in our school community. With a degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and further studies in Early Childhood Education at Front Range Community College, Ms. Peggy blends academic excellence with hands-on experience. She’s been working with children since 2004 and brings a deep passion for helping them discover new things, build confidence, and embrace challenges with a “never give up” attitude.
