  Enzo Garza

  Founder & CEO

  As the founder of Accountingprose, Enzo has dedicated their career to empowering small businesses and fostering growth within local communities. With an unwavering commitment to Bodhisattva and Kaizen values, Enzo has developed a unique approach to business and personal growth that focuses on continuous improvement. From a young age, Enzo embraced the teachings of Buddhism and made a commitment to achieve enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings. Enzo believes that this state of enlightenment can be experienced when one is fully engaged in their work or personal life. By connecting with authentic and kind individuals, Enzo strives to remove obstacles and enable a state of flow that allows people to do their best work and be present in every moment. Kaizen, the Japanese concept of continuous improvement, is another value that Enzo holds dear. Through introspection, learning, and relationship building, Enzo constantly seeks to improve their understanding of the world and their impact on others. This mindset enables Enzo to approach problem-solving and solution development with creativity and empathy. Throughout their career, Enzo has had the great fortune to hone their craft, developing a deep passion for small businesses and the challenges they face. Enzo's enthusiasm for accounting, technology, marketing, software development, and workplace culture and diversity shines through in every interaction. They are known for their ability to think in terms of systemization and efficiency, often sharing color-coded flow charts with clients to help streamline processes. Enzo's dedication to helping clients and employees thrive has had a lasting impact on local communities and economies. They understand that true success comes from genuine partnerships, and they strive to ensure that everyone involved in a project feels supported and valued. When not immersed in the world of accounting, Enzo enjoys speaking at conferences, skiing in the Rockies, dancing at music festivals, and playing and making techno music. Always eager to learn and grow, Enzo is a true embodiment of the values they hold dear, and their passion for supporting small businesses is truly contagious.

  Kristie Simas

  Director of Operations

  Kristie is an autodidact who absorbs information as quickly as it is given to her. She has progressed through the ranks at Accountingprose, managing every aspect of our work. She can now be found developing internal training, optimizing processes, and coaching our superstar team as our Director of Operations. When she isn’t working, she can be found deadlifting, hiking with her husband and dog, or working towards her next belt in jiu jitsu.

  Kienan Almeida

  Kienan Almeida

  Kienan is a graduate of the University of South Florida where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with minors in Anthropology and Chinese Language. Professionally, he has been positioned as a team builder and client liaison for several companies before joining Accountingprose in 2015. Kienan enjoys cutting through the stressful red tape surrounding tax issues for our small business clients. After hours Kienan is a self-promoting illustration artist who enjoys hiking, botany, and weightlifting.

  HR Manager

  When facing a challenge I want to ALWAYS choose to do what is right and honorable even when it is unpopular or difficult. Whether with family, friends, or coworkers I want to be a person of integrity. In practice, this looks like showing up, upholding promises, full honesty/ transparency where possible, and practicing good judgment.

  Kathleen (Kat) Klostermann

  Office Manager

  Kat started her career in healthcare and left to start a family and open her own business. Owning her own small business gives Kat a unique perspective as Office Manager. When she’s not clicking through HR documents, Kat can be found designing and sewing clothing in her studio, building furniture with her plethora of power tools, or spending time outdoors with her family and dog.

  Katy Jones

  Client Accounting Manager

  Katy graduated with a degree in Business from the Community College of Aurora in 2011. Katy has been working as a Staff Accountant for about 10 years, working with small to large businesses in a variety of industries. She enjoys working directly with business owners so she can grasp the direction and vision of the company in order to tailor their books around what is most important to them. When she isn’t working, she is busy with her teenage daughter and 9 year old dog. They enjoy going on walks, enjoying the scenery here in Colorado, as well as spending time with family. She is a Colorado native and has the majority of her family here, which means loads of family bbq’s, gatherings and of course competitive yard games

  Kelsey Hamilton

  Client Accounting Manager

  Kelsey (she/her) graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. As a small business owner, she learned firsthand how complicated building and scaling a business can be. She loves to translate that experience into helping her small business clients make their accounting process work for them, and strives to help each client truly understand the why behind the numbers. Her favorite accounting victories are when she can help untangle a bookkeeping problem and get her clients back to doing what they love in their businesses. When she's not learning new Excel tricks or color-coding her calendar, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, attending local theatre events, and spending time with her cats.

  Kristi Mount

  Client Accounting Manager

  Kristi cut her teeth at Western Dakota Tech, learning the nuts and bolts of accounting and marketing- a unique combination! While boosting her skills in school, she worked with local small businesses in Rapid City, South Dakota to help them bring their brands to the masses and understand their financial performance. She recently moved to Phoenix, AZ to join Accountingprose, so that she could continue doing what she does best- creating new ways to find and help our clients with our awesome accounting and payroll services. Outside of work, she enjoys trying to take her cat on walks, reading books, and painting happy trees and little fluffy clouds a la Bob Ross.

  Ligeia Champion

  Client Accounting Manager

  Ligeia graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and, after discovering her love for accounting, obtained an Associates in Accounting from Rose State College. As a project coordinator in a research lab, she charted participant recruitment and loss and guided efforts to reduce inefficiencies and improve participant retention. This, along with the countless hours spent processing and analyzing data from the experiment, sparked her interest in accounting. As an accountant, Ligeia has created internal procedures for compliance with unclaimed property law and trained staff on these and other payroll policies. She has also aided both new and established business owners in setting up over 20 new businesses in the Oklahoma City area. Her guiding goal has always been to help people (hence the psychology degree) and using accounting to help small businesses is a tangible way to help make a positive impact in their local communities. She loves donning her detective hat and glasses (pipe is optional) and helping improve a company’s financial performance by spotting and correcting inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and errors. Not only is Ligeia an accounting wizard, but she enjoys spending her free time playing a wizard in Dungeons and Dragons. She also enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, and watching foreign films.

  Meagan Minneman

  Onboarding Controller

  Meagan, after earning her B.S. and M.S. from Kansas State University in Apparel Marketing + Design, found her true calling in Accounting. Along with her software management and small business consultant background, she is excited to continue on her Accountant path at Accountingprose. When she's not nerding out in Excel, you can find her spending time with her husband, dog Baxter (Westie) and cat Olive (Cat), exploring the local restaurants and cocktail lounges of Kansas City, and traveling the Caribbean.

  Mila Webb

  Client Accounting Manager

  Mila (she/her) is a graduate of UNC School of the Arts, where her formal education is in classical piano. Over the years, she’s learned that accounting and music theory really aren’t so different! Her accounting background is in e-commerce and manufacturing, but she enjoys applying her keen eye for detail to help businesses in any industry thrive. In her free time, Mila can usually be found exploring the food and art scene that Philly has to offer, rock climbing or biking with her spouse, playing with her big goofy dogs, or messing around on one of many instruments.

  Morgan Guidry

  Controller

  Morgan graduated from the University of Louisiana with a degree in Accounting and has been a CPA since 2015. She built up her knowledge in tax accounting for several years before finding her enthusiasm for cloud accounting. Morgan is passionate about connecting with people, cultivating meaningful relationships, and arming business owners with the information and tools they for their companies to thrive. A true Cajun from South Louisiana, she enjoys cooking up delicious food, being outdoors with her rescue pit, Charlie (and any other doggos she happens to be fostering), and cheering on the Saints.

  Beth Dennis

  Controller

  Beth is a graduate from Adams State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and minor in Finance. She has gained a wide range of experience previously in a public accounting firm assisting local small businesses, governments and non-profits. She is excited to bring her knowledge, ‘do what it takes” outlook and bubbly personality to the Accountingprose team. When Beth isn’t knee deep in numbers, you can find her crafting, playing with her dog Peach or enjoying the great outdoors Colorado has to offer.

  Ethan Cathey

  Client Accounting Manager

  Ethan (he/him) is a graduate of Colorado State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He got straight to work doing regional public accounting work in Southwestern Colorado performing a diverse array of tax, audit, bookkeeping, and payroll services for clients in the government, not-for-profit, and private sectors. After growing bored of the dry Colorado climate, Ethan moved to Portland, OR in search of greenery and as much cloud cover as he could find, working in-house with a startup digital media company before joining the Accountingprose team to take full advantage of the cutting edge advances in tech that are changing the accounting profession. In his free time, Ethan practices capoeira, loves horror movies, and is always hunting down the tastiest new things in Portland's vibrant food and drink scene.

  Heather Perry

  Client Accounting Manager

  Heather is a graduate of Campbell University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Immediately following college, she began employment with a banking institution before being hired on as a bookkeeper for the local school district. While working for the schools, she was promoted from school bookkeeper to district payroll specialist and finally to Assistant Finance Officer. She brings a cheery personality along with a multilevel perspective on financial operations. With over a decade of experience in the financial sector, she is joining the Accountingprose team to continue her journey of an everlasting need to learn and disseminate knowledge.In her free time, you will find her antiquing for vintage Fiestaware, indulging in a new true crime docuseries, or perpetuating that idea that “Halloween isn’t a holiday, it’s a lifestyle” with her ever-growing collection of sugar skull décor.

  Jessie Allen

  Client Accounting Manager

  Jessie earned her Associates in Arts from Tallahassee Community College prior to discovering her true calling to accounting. Once this calling became clear she began cultivating her knowledge by working for the State of Florida in Tallahassee where she was able to streamline training processes for accounting staff and implement 2 new accounting softwares used state-wide. She then decided to leave the Florida capital for a life at the beaches of 30A where she was able to work with over 30 small businesses at a local CPA firm. Jessie brings with her a personal background of helping her father with his small business as a blacksmith. She is driven to help business owners so that they can focus less on the paperwork and more on their reason for starting their businesses. When not working, Jessie can be found improving her skills on the tennis courts, reading at the beach, or adventuring with her husband and their two corgis Biscuit and Luigi.
