A transplant to the Mile High City by way of Phoenix, Heather has been in Denver since 2015. She is NASM certified and a full-time fitness professional! She grew up as a classically trained dancer and continued to dance through college. Heather’s first love into the fitness world was with Pure Barre in 2012. There is where she truly discovered her passion for helping and inspiring others to become their strongest self. Heather also teaches spin classes at Rush Cycle, as well as, a Corporate Master Trainer for the company. You can always expect every class with her to be fun, sweaty, and leave feeling like a badass! Get ready to have the best dance party under the disco ball!
Katie-jane (KJ) is beyond honored to be a part of the AKT Team and is excited to bring AKT to Denver, CO. Being a Colorado Native, KJ has rooted herself in the realms of movement. Her passion for movement manifested into a calling and landed her in Los Angeles, CA for the BFA Dance program at Loyola Marymount University. After college, she furthered her studies and became a certified BASI Pilates teacher, which deepened her understanding of the bodies anatomy and complexity. As her professional fitness career progressed she teamed up with Pure Barre as Lead Teacher for Pure Barre Vail Valley and now Pure Barre Boulder. KJ is passionate about coaching others and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones all while having a blast doing it!
